David and Johanna invited us over for dinner last night, and Johanna is the best cook! We always feel so pampered and comfortable at their house. She made awesome snacks and many chicken dishes, I loved the chicken soup with papaya and chili leaves, so yummy!
After the storm, the weather turned cool and really comfortable, we enjoyed watching Juno doing his tricks, my feet were particularly swollen so Johanna gave me some all natural coconut oil based massage oil she brought from the Philipines and Mom rubbed my feet for a long time, it felt really good. We also enjoyed looking at her old pictures. They gave us an egg carton foam for extra padding of our tatami bedding. I recorded Juno’s tricks on video, he really is a gentle and loving dog. I wish we could stay for longer, but we had to take off – just before we left, Johanna made the dessert, it was the best, Mom even said it was the best dessert she’d ever had: mango, sweet rice and all natural Häagen-Dazs ice cream, I rarely break my no-sugar rule but I have to confess I had two plates last night 🙂
