Serious Eating and Walking

Weather was so beautiful over the weekend, Michael and I was able to get some time of our own time, we found another babysitter Dana, she will be helping us till February. We also visited a dim sum restaurant called Tasty’s, although I was really disappointed that they charged us $20 for a plate of stir-fried garlic bok choy! I think we are going to try the other one called China Town next time.

I made lunch on Sunday, bok choy (which cost $1.98 by the way and tasted way better according to Michael), calamari rings over mesculin mix and salmon ochazuke.

There are some really lovely trails in New Zealand, part of the Turitea Walkway is spread out in the area we are in. Michael and I took the boys on the Adderstone Walkway Sunday evening and it was actually quite a tough yet beautiful walk. We were able to cross over to Summerhill Shopping Center. Even though it was such a bumpy ride, boys slept through it and didn’t wake up until we are done shopping. It was quite fun and I took some interesting pictures, it was really hard to believe the beautiful scenery is right by our doorstep.
