May North Island Tour – Hamilton

Hamilton is lovely because of the Hamilton Garden, it is public, free and brilliant. We only had time to cover a very small portion of it but it’s overwhelming just to see their gardens of the world in a maze like setting. Very impressive. I loved the picture with the boys in front of the Romulus and Remus at the Italian garden, and was really surprised to see a replica of the most famous Zen garden Ryoanji, which we visited in Kyoto, the Chinese garden was lovely, the Indian garden was grand but the American and British gardens are not so interesting.

Still we could have had the chance to go to Hobbiton back then!
